WHO IS BEHIND THE WORDS

Clear evidence.
Clear accountability.

The Outlook is published by Home Income Lab. Guy Lahav is the site owner. Our aim is to help a curious reader understand an event before deciding what to think about its market.

What our byline means

“The Outlook editorial desk” is the publication’s organizational byline. AI assists discovery, research, drafting and source checks. It is not the name of an individual journalist, and it does not imply independent reporting from the scene or review by a credentialed subject expert.

We do not attach invented people, credentials or expert endorsements to an article. If a named contributor or expert reviews a future story, that work should be credited explicitly on the story.

Facts first, interpretation second

A useful article begins with what the available evidence establishes. The analysis then explains incentives, constraints, competing scenarios and what could change. A market’s existence is not evidence that its premise is true.

Our research prioritizes dated official decisions, filings, original datasets and primary statements. References appear beside the claims they support. Contract rules establish how a bet settles; they cannot establish the truth of unrelated real-world claims.

What changed, and when?

Substantive revisions carry a “What changed” note. We preserve the original publication date. Article research and market-price observations have separate timestamps, so an older quoted price cannot masquerade as a fresh one.

Check the work

You can open the sources, compare the exact Polymarket contract, and download the underlying figures from our Market Attention Report. The report explains its selection rule and the limits of cumulative trading volume.

Corrections and independence

We are not operated by or affiliated with Polymarket. Editorial explanations are not personalized trading recommendations. Evidence and uncertainty should remain visible even when they make a story less dramatic.

If something is wrong, send the article URL, the disputed passage and a supporting source through our corrections contact. A material correction should identify what changed rather than silently rewriting the historical record.
